Richardson, AK. This procurement is considered for noncompetitive contracting action due to the following reasons. Components consist of storage cover, A/P cassette holder, Iliac crest supports (TM), Iliac bolster rolls (TM), autoglide torso lift (TM), 2 arm boards, tibial support component, seat assembly with lateral stabilizers, hip support sling, 2 leg restraints, side rails, 4 locking casters, table controls and C-style frame designed to provide unrestricted C-arm access. Specifications include a patient weight limit of 350 lbs., height adjustment from 32 to 42 inches, lateral tilt to 10 degrees, Trendelenberg, reverse Trendelenberg, and compatibility with C-arms or conventional x-ray. Solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 9/30/96. Intended source is Orthopedic Systems, Inc., due to their unique, superior components, and technical capability to meet the state-of-the art performance standards. Award is contingent on funding.
