The radiometer is used to measure surface temperatures and radiation from the ground to obtain the character of the surface. Product must be a commercial product and not developed solely for the purpose of this procurement. This synopsis is being procured using FAR Part 12, Commercial Item Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This acquisition will be procured under a total small business set-aside. The SIC Code is 3829, with a small business standard of 500 employees. The solicitation number 47-3K47-96, is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP), and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-40. Any interested/qualified source who believes they can provide the required product may respond to the RFP, by submitting a proposal by the closing date. All such responses will be evaluated in order to determine the ability to meet the stated capabilities.
