This is a justified sole source requirement to Teradyne Corporation, 321 Harrison Ave, Boston MA 02118. Contractor shall provide all parts, materials, installation and transportation necessary to provide Full Service maintenance and Software Support for the Teradyne L210 test system. This is an ''all or none'' requirement. Descriptions, quantities and locations are based on the best available date at the time. Specific tasks shall consist of all actions to diagnose and correct the system malfunctions and restore the system to normal operating condition. Software support includes licensing, system updates and changes necessary. Contractor will guarantee a 95% system uptime for all equipment for any thirty day period. Teradyne Inc has proprietary rights to equipment and software and therefore offerors believing they can provide the above requirement may be required to submit acapabilities statement. The information must provide clear and convincing evidence that they are able to provide required services. Such evidence could be an agreement with Teradyne stating their authorization. Contract period is estimated through 30 Sep 97. Allinterested parties are urged to provide their CAGE Corde and Contractor Establishment Code CEC with their written requests. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposed development phase of this acquisition.
