R -- SUPPLY, TRAIN AND DELIVERY OF HORSES FOR THE 3D U.S. INFANTRY, THE OLD GUARD (TOG), CAISSON PLATOON SOL W73GLL-6109-0178 POC Contract Specialist JOYCE SIBOLD (703) 696-7113 (Site Code DAHC30) The FMMC, DOC, proposes to establish a firm-fixed-price requirements contract for the Supply, Training, and Delivery of Horses for the Caisson Platoon, The Old Guard, 3d U.S. Infantry, at Fort Myer, Virginia. The horses must be gentle and calm, physically sound, trained for riding, driving, pulling in harness, and performing under various stages of stress and circumstances; such as, gunfire, crowds of people and parades. Performance is a base year, 110196 to 103197, plus two one-year options, if exercised by the Government. A site visit will be scheduled. Request for solicitations must be in writing.
