The switchboard operator(s) shall verbally answer all incoming calls (estimated at 700 calls per day), route calls, relay messages, maintain a visitor log, and maintain equipment to the level defined in the attendant equipment user's manual. The contract performance shall begin on 01 January 1997, or upon date of award, whichever is later, for a one year period. Two one-year option periods will be included in the contract.
