This project involves the construction of a 6,346 square feet New Medical/Dental Building on a single floor level, including all site preparations and improvements at the Atterbury Job Corps Center in Edinburgh, Indiana. The work also includes concrete footing and slab-on grade, load bearing masonry walls, steel roof trusses, modified bitumen roofing system, interior finishes, fire protection, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Site preparation includes concrete paved parking and landscaping. The estimated cost range for this construction project is between $500,000 to $1,000,000. Plans and Specifications shall be available on or about October 15, 1996, only from the Architect/Engineer firm of The Estopinal Group, Inc., 903 Spring Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. It is emphasized that requests for plans and Specifications should be directed to the A/E firms listed above to ensure proper handling of requests. Requests must be in writing. Plans and Specifications will be made available for pick-up at the A/E's office, or may be arranged for delivery at an additional charge. Any additional shipping and/or handling charges must be pre-paid and COB requests will not be accepted. Requests will be answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until the initial supply is exhausted, a non-refundable fee not to exceed the actual cost of reproduction of the IFB documents (to be determined by the Contracting Officer,) plus a shipping charge based on each individual request (if applicable,) will be required in order to obtain the IFB documents. Pre-Bid walk-thru is scheduled for October 30, 1996 at 10:00 A.M. local time at the Atterbury Job Corps Center. Bid opening is scheduled for November 26, 1996, at 1:00 P.M. local time at the A/E's office stated above. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside Acquisition.
