National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is seeking interested
parties in providing services to Salvage, Scrap, Certify and Dispose of
NOAA Ship Oceanographer. Performance period to commence approximately
November 15, 1996 and shall be completed within 90 days thereafter.
Contract items include PCBs removal, ACMs removal/abatement, removal
and disposal of all Hazardous Material, Towing and others. Vessel is
available for inspection. Vessel is homported in Seattle, Washington.
Characteristics of NOAA Ship Oceanographer: Overall Length - 303ft;
Draft - 19'-8''; Displacement - 4,033 tons. Note: Ship has been
inactive for over six years. All responsible sources may submit a bid
which shall be considered by the agency. Copies of the solicitation
