This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation under solicitation number 117-0494. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-39. (iv) This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small business. SIC: 5065 size standard: 100 employees (v) The Contractor shall be an authorized Motorola service/repair company. Repairs will include, but are not limited to, physical damage, software programming and all other associated maintenance of the complete radio system at the Institution and the Detention Center. The portable radio systems currently in use at this facility are the MT-1000, HT-600, HT-1000, Sabre System, HT-90 and the HT-220. The base stations are models MSR-2000 and the MSF-5000. Approximately 10 radios per month require repairs or service. Also the Institution has Maxtrac mobiles; Spectra mobiles; and associated ancillary equipment. There are two (2) Centracom Consoles which require a yearly maintenance check. (vi) The services will be on a as needed basis for all the aforementioned equipment. (viii) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) Due to security requirements, award will be made in the aggregate for all items. In order to qualify for award, the bidder must submit pricing on all items. Award will be made to the overall lowest bid of all the items totaled.
