This is a modification to September, 9 notification of a 6 mos extension to the NIH contract for Occupational Medical Services. The contract modification will be for 9 months and the notification is repeated herewith. The Division of Safety of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to extend its present contract with DYNCORP/PRI for a period of 9 (vice 6) months to allow for the recompetition of its Occupational Medical Services. The extension will be negotiated under citation 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 based upon the contractor's unique ability to provide ther services during this interim period. Sources may submit in writing a capability statement which demonstrates that they can meet the Government's requirements. This capability statement must be received within 45 days of this publication. See Numbered Note 22. (0267)
