Requirements for the Establishment and operation of a travel management
center for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National
science foundationn (NSF) and the department of labor dol). The
estimated annual air ticket sales are $5.2 million $4.3 million and 4.2
million, respectively. A minimum rebate for each agency will be made
under the solicitation. This solictation will be competed under full
and open competition procuedures. Requirements include: EPA) a high
speed dedicated ticket maintained within a two block area of the
agency'S headquarters. EPA has already begun to MOVE and will continue
through calendar year 1999. The contractor may be required to relocate
the travel management center, at no COST to the government. The
contractor shall provide staff memebers who are trained and experienced
in federal government rules and regualations, as well as domestic and
International scheduling. The contractor shall provide two to three
times daily ticket delivery to various locations within the district of
Columbia. Virginia and Maryland (NSF) one on-site travelmanagement
center, including high speed dedicated ticket printers and
intineraryprinters, staffed by the contractor'S operating personnel at
NSF, 4201 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, Virginia 22230. Approximately 1,285
square feet of loor spaceno concession fee. Minimum security clearance
procedures must be complied. The TMC will provide NSF'S travel
coordinator, at no COST to NSF, a reservation Terminal/CRT and
necessary communications links, for use in accessing flight/fare
information. Each agent of the contractor'S staff must be provided a
CRT/personal computer with windows 95 and an internet connection. The
contractor shall provide a STATE-OF-THE-ART, multiline, automatic call
sequence, call holding telephone systems. An on-site group and meeting
planner will be required to provide necessary seminar and meeting
arrangements for non NSF perssonnel. (dol) one on-site travel
management center, including a high speed ticket printer, boarding
pass, and itinerary printer shall be staffed by the contractor'S
operating personnel at US department of labor, Frances Perkins
building, 200 constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20210.
Approximately 750 square feet will be provided. The solicitation will
be issued on or about October 3, 1996 and close on or about November
15, 1996 with an anticiapted start-up date of February 3, 1997.
