Orders may also involve related work (drain replacement, caulking, brick repair, deck repair, etc.) to facilitate roofing work. To be considered for award, the contractor must have the following qualifications: 1) shall be located within a 150 mile radius of the work and have at that location an insured warehouse and a metal shop; and 2) shall be an approved applicator for two years by at least one of the roofing materials manufacturers listed in the specification for each type of roofing membrane and be eligible to provide the guarantees required. The four types of membranes are Built-Up Roofing-Asphalt, Built-Up Roofing- Coal Tar Pitch, Sheet Roofing-MBM and Sheet Roofing-EPDM Fully Adhered. Estimated cost of these projects is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. SIC Code 1761. This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis.
