The work includes but is not limited to patching and sealing both bituminous and portland cement airfield pavements and restriping runway and taxiways. Approximate quantities of work include 1,200 tons of bituminous surface course, 980 SY of PCC pavement replacement, 70,000 LF of resealing joints, 50 CF of PCC pavement patching, 82,300 SY of asphalt slurry seal, 34,000 LF of crack sealing and 152,000 SF of pavement markings. The contractor will be required to complete the work in 190 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Following tentative dates apply: Issue invitations 10/96, open bids 11/96, complete contract 6/97. Estimated cost is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000. (263)
