applicable to the T-53 Engine. Any award resulting from this
solicitation will be a firm fixed price Indefinite Quantity contract.
The minimum quantity to be awarded under this solicitation is 4,226
each. Estimated quantities over the five years of this contract are as
follows: FY 97 = 4,226 each; FY98 = 2,652 each; FY99 = 2,000 each;
FY2000 = 2,000 each; FY2001 = 2,000. The maximum quantity to be
procured under this solicitation is 16,098 each. This quantity is
greater than the sum of the individual ordering periods, as it includes
surge requirements. Actual quantities will be designated on individual
Delivery Orders. The minimum quantity on any one Delivery Order is
2,000 each, and the maximum quantity on any Delivery Order is 5,283
each, which includes potential surge requirements. All offerors must
meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award.
Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for
this or future solicitation by submitting documentation in accordance
with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List Procedures. These
procedures may be obtained from the Procurement Officer listed above.
Only approved sources who have successfully completed the required
engineering test will be considered for award of this flight safety
part. No phone requests will be accepted. Request will be accepted by
fax at (314)263-9012 or by mail. Please include solicitation number,
and Office Symbol code on the request. Justification for Other than
Full and Open Competition is FAR 6.302-1. Approved Sources are: Turbo
