H -- WATER SAMPLING ANALYSIS PURSUANT TO THE SAFE DRINKING WATER ACT SOL F04700-96-B0061 DUE 101196 POC Ricardo R. Mones, Contract Specialist, (805) 277-3900 Ext 2317. The Air Force Flight Test Center has a requirment for laboratory analysis of water samples at Edwards AFB, CA. Analysis is in compliance with the Safe Drnking Water Act as required by the California Department of Health Services pursuant to the California Code of Regulations Title 22. Services includes the following: Source analysis (i.e. wells, etc.) for complete Title 22 reevaluation, State of California lead and copper survey and distribution analysis to include lead, arsenic, copper, iron, hardness, alkalinity, color, specific conductance, nitrates, TDS, turbidity and TTHM. Analysis must comply with Level 2 quality assurance/quality control requirements. Routine work orders (samples) must be analyzed within 5 working days upon receipt and priority work orders must be analyzed within 24 hours upon receipt. Laboratory analysis must comply with all state certification requirements. Analysis shall include Primary Inorganics (Section 66432), Floride (Section 64432), Asbestos (Section 64432.2), General Mineral (Section 64449), Nitrate/Nitrite (Section 64432.1), Secondary Standards (Table 64449-A), VOCs (Table 64444-A(a)), Radioactivity (Section 64441), and SOCs (Table 64444-A(b). Services shall include courier service (Federal Express, UPS, etc. or courier personnel) to pick up sample on a timely manner. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business.
