69 -- INSTRUCTIONAL SYSTEMS DESIGN - SOURCES SOUGHT POC Contact Glen O'Grady, 407/380-8365/Contracting Officer, Darlene Hostetter, 407/380-4092 The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) is beginning acquisition planning for an Instructional Systems Design (ISD) procurement. It is envisioned the ISD procurement will cover the full range of ISD analyses and products (analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate) for the U.S. Navy surface/subsurface and other government departments. The scope of the proposed procurement will be broad enough to cover ISD training requirements for existing training systems and/or the development of new training systems. A DRAFT Statement of Work will be accessible via the internet at homepage address ''http://www.ntsc.navy.mil/'' (look under ''Request for Proposal'' for the statement of work file). Additional draft documentation will be added to the internet as it becomes available. Interested offerors should review the DRAFT document to obtain a better understanding of the requirements. A hard copy DRAFT will not be issued at this time. Interested and qualified concerns are invited to submit written responses to this notice by 16 Oct 96. Responses should include, as a minimum, the following information: 1) Narrative description of currently developed training systems; 2) The identification of types of labor categories and their availability; 3) Technical and managerial qualifications (experience, facilities, staffing, etc.) of personnel including experience in naval surface/subsurface warfare organization, tactics and systems and experience with ISD models and curriculum development software programs; 4) Results of recent ISD analyses and/or products; 5) Past performance on Government contracts of a like or similar nature (if applicable); 6) Whether your company intends to bid as a prime or subcontractor; 7) The size and status of your company (based on SIC Code 2741) and the related small business size standard of 500 employees. This announcement does not constitute a request for proposal, but is solely for the purpose of planning by surveying the market for qualified interested sources.
