The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCDD) intends to non-competitively procure system engineering services in support of operational AEGIS Cruiser and Destroyer Class ships and their associated AEGIS Weapon Systems (AWS) and AEGIS Combat Systems (ACS). Required services include computer program maintenance and engineering support for AEGIS Interface Simulators, documentation preparation and revisions to support baseline computer program updates and associated equipment modifications, technical support to NSWCDD in testing modifications to ACS computer program updates, technical support to NSWCDD for the installation and check-out of AEGIS Data Extraction and Automatic Reduction programs, ACS integration and ship integration of baseline upgrades, definition and design support for proposed combat system upgrades, and engineering support to develop and recommend proposed upgrades to the Operational Readiness and Test System (ORTS). The services require detailed knowledge and a broad perspective of the complete ACS and specially configured equipment, engineering tools and facilities unique to AEGIS. This will be a sole source procurement with LOCKHEED-Martin Government Electronics Division, Moorestown, NJ. The contract will be performed on a level of effort basis with cost-plus-award-fee pricing. The period of performance will include a base year and four option years.
