The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire services for the establishment, operation, and management of Emergency Room (ER) and Primary Care Clinic (PCC) in support of, and within the confines of, Naval Hospital Pensacola, FL. The ER provides emergency care for patients who are determined to have emergent conditions, i.e., physical or psychological conditions that are perceived to be or have the potential to be life-, limb-, or function threatening or disabling. The ER provides urgent and non-urgent care for eligible beneficiaries as workload capacity exists and in accordance with Naval Hospital protocols for care and referral of TRICARE prime enrollees. The PCC shall provide primary and acute health care. Services are required 1 October 1997 with a base period of 12 months. There are 4 one-year option periods. Earned incentive award provisions will be included. It is estimated that the solicitation document will be issued on or about 4 October 1996. The applicable Standard Classification Number is 8011.
