This is a Second Solicitation Notice. This is a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The anticipated date plans and specifications will be available is 7 October 1996. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) Code is 8744, BASE MAINTENANCE, with a size standard of $20 million. The base performane period is 12 months with options to extend, but, shall not exceed 60 months, including the base period. The contractor shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering and transportation necessary to maintain and repair the housing units and assoicated utility systems, household equipment, appliances, land areas, and other related real property and facilities. The contract will be acquired through the use of Source Selection Procedures. Award will be made to the offer proposing the best value to the Government based on the price and non-priced factors in the RFP. A tentative preproposal conference/site visit will be held on or around 24 October 1996 at the Washington Navy Yard, Bldg 212, 901 M Street, SE, Washington, DC. It is anticipated that proposals will be due on 14 November 1996. There is a nonrefundable $15.00 charge for plans and specifications.
