The alteration includes demolition; rearrangement of interior partitions; exterior renovation; mechanical, structural, and electrical modification; handicapped elevator and parking; asbestos/lead paint abatement; upgrading fire protection systems; EMCS; and communications support. The addition includes concrete slab, walls, roof to match existing, interior and exterior finishes, installing kitchen equipment, parking area, site work, utilities, EMCS, and communications support. The alteration of building 147 will also include asbestos, lead-based paint, and PCB removal as well as extensive structural modification to correct foundation problems and prevent them from reoccurring. The four kitchen laboratories in building 150 require a large amount of both new and government (Navy) furnished industrial type kitchen equipment. Estimated Value: $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 - - Bids sets available at $92.00 for half-size and $202.00 for full-size. No individual sheets of half-size drawings may be purchased.
