Bureau of Land Management, 1949 C Street NW, Room 1075 LS, Washington, DC 20240

D -- CORRESPONDENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POC Contact Peggy Brittel 202-452-5043/Contracting Officer, Modestina Bush, 202-452-5175. The United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is required to properly manage and protect oil and gas resources lying beneath Federal and Indian lands (Federal and non-federal). Comprehensive production data are required to determine recoverable reserves for a given well. Because of its historical well data, dating back as early as 1950, Dwight's Energydata, Inc., has been chosen to provide the BLM with the information to meet fluid minerals operations and reservoir management program needs. Dwight's Energydata is the only source for well and production data on CD ROM which meets the Bureau's operations and reservoir management needs. Its data are more inclusive, covering more states, and have production data going back considerably further than any other known vendor. Historical data is important to BLM. See Note 22.
