J -- MAINTENANCE OF RAMTEK DISPLAYS SOL NRMGM000707519JW DUE 102596 POC Jacqueline Wright (303) 497-5282 THE MAINTENANCE OF RAMTEK DISPLAYS The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to purchase on-site hardware maintenance for six RAMTEK Display Systems at the NOAA/National Weather Service (NWS) Site in Norman, Oklahoma, with the following hardware; model 4660/RK2 display controllers, model 3528 refresh memory, model 6012 Type 12 video Generators, model 1922 Parallel GPIF, model 1122 DEC Q-BUS interfaces, model M90319 ''Color Monitors, model 8100-1 Imagedisk Controllers, model 8112-1 1.2 Gbyte ESDI Disk Banks, model 1924 parallel DRIF and model 1400 imagedisk I/O interface. This maintenance service will be from date of award through September 30, 1996. NOAA intends to purchase the maintenance service on a sole source basis from Pivotal Graphics, Inc., 655 River Oaks Parkway, San Jose, California, 95134. In order to provide this service Pivotal Graphics will be required to (i) maintain their property device driver for ther RAMTEK 4660''s (ii) affect engineering change orders as required in short order to resolve hardware/firmware problems; (iii) use their diagnostic software tools to isolate problems with the controller, imaging disk and host interface; (iv) interpret results from NOAA developed diagnostic software in assisting with the isolation of the problem and (v) support operational use of the display subsystems at the Nstional Weather office and use their experience with NOAA's workstation hardware configuration to minimize system down time.
