34 -- 20 TON HYDRAULIC GRENADE PRESS SOL DAAA03-96-R-0006 DUE 111696 POC Thaddious Kee, Contract Specialist, 501/540-3040. Turnkey Performance Contract To Provide Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA) With A New 20 Ton Hydraulic Press. The contractor is to furnish all materials, labor, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to provide one (1) each Ton hydraulic press and with associated tooling and controls, in adddition to removal and palatalization of existing equipment and set-up of new system and run-off at PBA IAW Technical Specification for Sample Grenade Press, Building 32-620, SIOPB-ET-1996-TS-9, dated Sep 1996. The contractor will transport and unload palatalized equipment to a storage facility on PBA as designated. The contractor will also be responsible for all demolition necessary to install press and auxiliary equipment in cubicle 19 of bldg. 32-620. The contractor is to design and fabricate 6 ram tips and 4 sample grenade split molds, (2 each, M8 and M18). The contractor will be responsible for shipping, unloading, unpacking, physical installation, and utility tie-in of all equipment. The contractor shall perform all adjustments and be responsible for the installation. The isntallation shall include and not limited to: Pouring an elevated support and anchoring pad; Setting and achoring press and auxiliary equipment in plac; electrically bonding press to building ground system, design and installation of personnel protective barricades, repositioning of existing services to include, fire supression deluge piping, lighting, and ventilation, removal of exhaust system, cubicle 19 (inside and on top of building, and etc. Note: the installation portion of this project will be subject to the Davis Bacon Act. The dollar threshold for the installation portion (ONLY) of this job is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. Sample grenade cans will be furnished to the awardee.
