Tilden, (504)862-2865 The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans has a requirement for the casting and stockpiling of approximately 121,000 squares of articulated concrete mattress at the Government's St. Francisville Casting Yard in St. Francisville, LA. One ''square'' of articulated concrete mattress is defined as one section approximately 25' x 4'' x 3'' containing sixteen blocks of concrete cast on a single unit of fabric. The successful contractor will provide all plant, equipment, labor, and materials (including fuel, power, and water) necessary to fabricate and stockpile mattress on site.
