This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation RFP 618-26-97 is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-42. SIC Code is 5047 and the small business size is 500 employees. Items to be acquired each year of the contract: (1) rental of ESP Blood Culture 384 System including data management system, (2) blood set consumable ESP 80A, #7101-44-1, 50/case, 123 cases, with connectors, (3) blood set consumable ESP 80N, #7103-44-9, 50/case, 123 cases, with connectors. It is anticipated that this will be a three year contract with a base year and two additional twelve-month options to renew. Offeror may offer varying prices for option years.
