F -- ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE SERVICES SOL FSIS-24-W-96 DUE 103196 POC Contact Point, Tawana Nathan, (202) 720-9891 The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has a requirement for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinate Quantity Contract for laboratory safety, health and environmental management services. Specific tasks may include, but not be limited to, the following: 1) Laboratory safety, health, and multi-media environmental management compliance audits; 2) Review and revision of the FSIS Laboratory Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Handbook; 3) Laboratory employee training on safety, health, and environmental regulations and protocols; 4) Assessment and evaluation of employee exposures to chemicals and toxic contaminats in laboratory and industrial (plant) environments; 5) Preparation of pollution prevention plans and waste minimization opportunity assessments; and 6) Assessment of FSIS safety and health programs in federally inspected meat, poultry, and egg product plants. Period of performance is from date of award 1996 thru September 30, 1997, with four option year periods. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under SIC Code 8731.
