We are soliciting in-kind donations or sponsorship for the Eagleglen Golf Course scorecards, yardage books and tee markers for the summer season. We need approximately $20,000 for 10,000 yardage books. $14,000 for 18 tee signs and $5,000 for 60,000 scorecards. Elmendorf Air Force Base supports about 25,000 people, which include 6,500 active duty, 10,000 family members, 1,000 civilian employees and 7,000 retirees. during the summer months, the base has between 3,000 and 4,000 TDY personnel. Our golf course, which is open to both the military and civilian community, hosts 500 season pass holders and 20,000 visitors each season. We average approximately 35,000 rounds of golf during the May-through-September season. We hold on average 100 tournaments, featuring USGA, Retired Military Golf Association and Anchorage Women's Golf Association events. We will accept all or part as sponsorship for this event. All offers will be considered. More than one sponsor/donation may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation must be received not later than 1 March 1997.
