The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a need to acquire maintance services for an existing PBX telephone system (Northern Telecom Meridian SL1-MS/Option 61) originally installed in October, 1986. The system consist of: 171 ports; one (1) Genicom Terminet 2030 PBX console; two (2) attendant consoles (1 digital, 1 analog); 135 single line 2500 sets; 20 SL-1 multi-line set; 16 digital milti-line 2616; Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR) which utilizes a PC running XIOX General Business Software 3.6. The system is located in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. Period of performance is from award date with option to extend the service one (1) additional year contingent on availability of funds for Fiscal Year 1997 and 1998. The maintenance service will begin as soon as the successful bidder has received proper security clearance. A walk-through of the site will be scheduled. The requirement will be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Small Business-Small Business Set-Aside. The standard Industrial Classified Code is 1731.
