99 -- WIND RIVER ADMINISTRATIVE SITE DUE 111596 POC Contracting Officer (509)427-3301 The Gifford Pinchot National is considering a wide range of options for the future use of the 300 acre site and infrastructure, rangng from issuing a long term Special Use Permit for an appropriate use of the site, to a combination of special uses for various areas within the site, to outright exchange of the lands and facilities for equal value resource land within National Forest Boundaries in the State of Washington. Interested parties may submit a letter of Intent including the following Information: 1. One paragraph description of the intended use for the site. 2. Which portions of the site are included? 3. Is the intent for Special Uses or outright ownership? a. If for Special Uses: i. How long is the Special Use intended for the site? ii. Estimated gross income and percentage return to Government. b. If for outright ownership in fee simple: i. What resource lands are being proposed for exchange, potentially? 4. An estimate of the jobs created and revenue to the local community.
