D -- MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT SOL RFP 546-15-97 DUE 092796 POC Gwendolyn Moore(305)324-3281 The VA Medical Center, Miami, Florida is seeking qualified, responsible firms who have the technical expertise and necessary labor, materials, parts, equipment, shipping and transportation to provide for adds, moves, changes and growth (follow-on services) and full maintenance of a Government-owned EPBAX MERIDIAN-1, Optional Release 19 with Meridian Mail, telephone system, under the direction of an onsite Telecommunications Specialist. Firms must be certified by the manufacturer as qualified to perform installation, maintenance and service and are able to demonstrate that the manufacturer will provide diagnostic support, software and hardware upgrades and authorizes the contractor to sublicense software for use with new systems. Contract period will be a base year, 10/15/96 - 9/30/97 with four one-year renewal options. Solicitation issue date is o/a 8/29/96.
