EGLIN AFB FL SMALL BUSINESS MEET THE BUYERS DAY. The Eglin AFB Small Business Meet the Buyers Day will be held Wednesday, 6 Nov, at the Okaloosa Island Holiday Inn, Ft. Walton Beach Florida. This conference is targeted to commercial supply/service/construction companies within driving distance of Eglin AFB. Registration will begin at 7:30. There will be a welcome at 8:00 and counseling and workshops will begin at 8:30. The conference will end at 12:30. There will be workshops on Electronic Commerce (Where is Eglin), Sources of Assistance for Small Business, Regionalization of Contract Payment, and Eglin IMPAC (Credit Card) Program. At the same time the buyers from Operational Contracting will be available for one-on-one counseling, as well as user representatives from the 96th Computer Group and the 46th Test Wing. Other participants will be the Eglin Small Business Office, the Small Business Administration, and the Florida Procurement Technical Assistance Center from the Univ. of West Florida.
