Z -- UPGRADE/RETROFIT 16 TANKS STATE OF NH SOL 082530-97-A-0004 DUE 103096 POC Mark Dunn, Project Manager (860) 285-7224 On or about Tuesday, October 1, 1996, the United States Postal Service, Windsor Facilities Service Office, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT will issue a solicitation to upgrade or retrofit aboveground and underground storage tanks at 16 locations in the State of New Hampshire. Sealed offers are due on or before Wednesday, October 30, 1996 no later than 4:00 p.m. EST. The estimated cost of the work is between $80,000.00 and $100,000.00. The contract completion time is ninety (90) calendar days. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS AND THE RESULTS OF THE ADVERTISEMENT WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL AWARD OF THE PROJECT. There will be a preproposal conference held on Wednesday, October 16, 1996 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the New Hampshire District Office, 4 Bedford Farms, Bedford, NH (Conference Room ''C'') to discuss the specifics of this solicitation. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly suggested. Site visits may be arranged by contacting the individual Postmasters. Work includes but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, and equipment required to upgrade or retrofit aboveground and underground storage tanks at the following postal facilities all located in the State of New Hampshire: Bradford, Canaan, Claremont, Etna, Georges Mills, Grafton, Guild, Hanover, Lebanon, Lyme, Meridan, Newport, Orford, Plainfield, Sunapee, and West Lebanon.
