Perkins, Facilities Contract Specialist, 901/747-7628 The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for demolition of portion of the existing first floor area interior partitions, walls, etc. No exterior work is included in this contract. The renovations include new metal stud and gympsum board partitions, new doors and frames, suspended lay-in ceilings and recessed lights, three toilet/restroom facilities, and modifications to the existing HVAC system. Existing wood floors will retained where indicated. A small area of carpet is included. On-site contacts is Postmaster William Jones (704/872-5214). Site visitation is not mandatory but encouraged. The estimated cost range is between $160,000 and $200,000, with a construction completion date of 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Cost of the plans and specifications for this project is $25 per set, non-refundable. Be sure to reference the subject solicitation number on your request.
