Dockside repair - NOAA Ship FERREL, to be performed at the Atlantic Marine Center in Norfolk, Virginia. Performance period to commence approximately December 18, 1996, and shall be completed within 43 calendar days following ship availability. Basic contract items will include Port/Starboard Stack House Steel Renewal; Chill Water Pipe Insulation Renewal; Bilge Suction Pipe Renewal; Forward Crane Overhaul & Weight Test; Superstructure Plate Repair; Oily Water Separator Pipe Upgrade and others. Vessel will be available for inspection on November 7, 1996 at the AMC in Norfolk, VA. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
