C -- PROVIDE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION SERVICES FOR A NEW DOMESTIC WATER SYSTEM, RESERVOIR REPAIRS, AND A SPRINKLER SYSTEM FOR THREE (3) DIFFERENT HOUSING UNITS AT THE FEDERAL PRISON CAMP - ALLENWOOD, PA POC William H. Gensel, Contracting Officer, (717) 547-1641, ext. 539. Professional Architect-Engineer services are required for the design and construction administration services for sprinklers at three (3) housing units and for domestic water system renovations. The domestic water system renovations are based upon recommendations set forth in a domestic water supply study performed under a separate contract including but not limited to: Renovation of existing reservoir, new 50,000 minimum gallon back-up reservoir, new reservoir meter house, and new domestic water system to all buildings. This work is to be performed at the Federal Prison Camp, Allenwood, PA. The estimated construction cost for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 with an estimated performance period of 389 days. The evaluation criteria for selection and contract award, in descending order of relative importance, are as follows: (1) Proposed project team and organization; (2) Comparable experience and performance; (3) Capability and capacity; (4) Past performance on contracts for government agencies and/or private industry; (5) Knowledge of locality and proximity to project; and (6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design. Only those firms residing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, having the capability to perform the services described herein, are requested to submit appropriate data within 30 calendar days from the initial publication date of this announcement. Applicant responses to the aforementioned evaluation of qualifications. The data submitted shall be concise and must address all specific categories listed in the evaluation criteria.
