The United States Holocaust Memorial Council (USHMC) has a requirement to continue development of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's (USHMM) existing interactive learning center (Wexner Learning Center) and its applications. The Wexner Learning Center is a computer-based environment that gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the Holocaust. The system contains a variety of media, including: articles, photos, maps, films, eyewitness testimony, and music. Each of the 30 computer stations on the network is capable of accessing and simultaneously playing any media item contained in the database, including hundreds of full motion video clips at 30 frames per second. The Wexner Learning Center is an open-ended data base system. The successful offeror will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing application of the Wexner Learning Center media databases. Also, the successful offeror must own, or be licensed to use, all patents, trade names, trademarks, copyrights, technology, know-how and processes used in the design, development, and production of the Learning Center features. The performance time will be one basic year with four, one year options. Proposed issue date is o/a 21 Oct 1996. Proposed date for receipt of proposals is o/a 20 Nov 1996.
