Specification for Two-Ply Coir Yarns Spun by Manual Operation (12
pages). 6. Description of content: This Standard covers considerations
like terminology, requirements, working and labelling, packing,
sampling, criteria for conformity and various method of tests for
different grades of various types of two-ply coir yarns spun by manual
operation, namely Anjengo yarn, Anjengo M.yarn, Superior anjengo yarn,
Aratory yarn, Alappat yarn, Ashtamudy yarn, Beach yarn, Beypore yarn,
Parur yarn, Quilandy yarn, Roping yarn and Vycome yarn. 7. Objective
and rationale: Standardization and quality control. 8. Relevant
documents: On adoption the notification of the document will be made
through the Government of India Gazette. It will also be published in
Standards India & Standards Monthly Additions brought out by the
