McDaniel, Contracting Officer The Navy requires 120 each Machine Gun Covers fabricated in accordance with U.S. MarineCorps drawings 6935731, 6935732, 6935733. 6935734, 6935735, 6935736, 6935737, 6935738,6935739, 6935740, 6935741, 6935742, 6935743, 6935744, 6935745, 6935746, 6935747 and6935748. These consist predominantly of Aluminum and Stainless Steel and is 16'' x 41'' x 11.5''.They are used to provide protection for the machine gun from the environment i.e. sand, rain,etc. These covers must be made in accordance with MIL-C-53072B, MIL-P-53022B, MIL-C-4616B, and MIL-STD-130. Delivery is required at FOB destination, Transportation Officer,Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA 17201-4150 within 75 days after contract. Finalinspection and acceptance will be at destination. This item is being procured under SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures and is 100% setaside for small business (Note 1). Part 12 applies (Note26).
