Brooks/Lfka/912-926-1763 A source selection acquisition IAW Air Force FAR supplement (AFFARS) Appendix BB for the management of depot repair/modification of F-15 airframe, hydromechanical, electrical, and avionic assemblies, and associated intermediate and depot support equipment will be conducted. This FMS requirement will be full and open competition and has been changed from a three year contract to a basic year contract with 4 annual options contemplating contractor lay-in of parts. A management background in aircraft maintenance repair/modification is desired. Requirement for the location of the contractor's facility for this effort has been changed from within 10 mile radius of RAFB, GA to within 25 mile radius of RAFB, GA to include persons with contracting and other decision making authority. Delivery Schedule for Critical Items: 45 days turnaround time from receipt of asset (includes AWP). Delivery for Non-Critical Items: Not to Exceed 75 days turnaround time from receipt of asset (includes AWP). An Early Industry Involvement Meeting is scheduled for 7 Oct 96.
