NAWCAD intends to procure 1 EA Generator Test Stand Avtron Manufacturing Part Number K838-100 or an equivalent unit meeting or exceeding the following salient characteristics: Drive Motor: DC:100HP, 1750/3100 RPM, 500 VDC Armature, 300 VDC Field, drip proof, 40 Deg. C ambient, forced ventilation, integral blower, isolated over temperature switch, overload 150 HP for 60 seconds 4 times per hour; Gearbox: Speed increaser, ratio 1:5 100 HP continuous 8750 to 15,500 RPM at output shaft. 150% overload for one minute. Reversible. Acceleration rate of 10 to 1000 RPM/sec. Maximum noise level 94 db (''A scale, ref 1 microbar, microphone 36'' away in any direction). Dynamic balance; precision class. Ambient 10 to 50 Deg C.; Gearbox Lube System: 10 micron nominal filter, Oil to air heat exchanger, 5 gallon reservoir, pressure and temperature protection, pressure gauge, temperature guage, oil level guage, clogged filter indicator.
