The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure the following peculiar support equipment in support of the SH-2G: Upgrade of a Recorder-Reproducer RD-493/ASM (P/N 8704600-509) to a RD-493A/ASM (P/N 8704600-511). Upgrade of an Electronic Test Set AN/ASM-614B (P/N 8703000-521) to an AN/ASM-614C (P/N 8703000-525). The proposed acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open compeition. The Government intends to procure these items on a sole source basis from Litton System Inc., Guidance and Control Systems Division, North Ridge, CA. Firms that recognize and produce the required items described are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considerd by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
