61 -- SUPPLY AND INSTALL BATTERY STANDBY POWER SUPPLY/UPS SYSTEMS, AND REMOVE UNDERGROUND FUEL STORAGE TANKS SOL DACW23-97-B-0001 DUE 111996 POC Contact Rhonda Johanson, 309/794-5519 or Donald Grskovich, 312/353-6400, extension 1700 This procurement consists of supply and install 6 complete battery standby power supply (BSPS)/UPS systems, and remove 5 underground fuel storage tanks. Work will be performed at the FAA sites in Illinois to include Chicago O'Hare (2 stations),Rockford, Dupage Airport (West Chicago), Marion, and Bloomington. The scope does not include removal of UST at Dupage site. Total number of BSPS/UPS systems for all sites shall consist of five (5) 5KW and one (1) 10KW, 120/240 Vac BSPS/UPS systemsincluding static inverters; 240VAC/24VDC microprocessor controlled rectifiers/battery chargers; 24 volts battery backup power source; alarm/UPS managers; static bypass switches; maintenance bypass switches; DC battery circuit breaker/disconnect; lowvoltage (DC) disconnect contactor. Train FAA personnel at each site. Provide electrical distribution to the electronic load racks including necessary modification to the existing distribution. UST removal includes removal of diesel tanks mostly 1,000gallons; removal of under 20 CY contaminated soil (if present); 2 sample analysis at each, and site restoration. The scope does not include remediation of leaking UST. A set of specifications will be furnished at no cost.
