PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Project consists of the new construction of an Electronics Security Squadron Complex located at the Utah Air National Guard Base, Salt Lake City International Airport, Utah. The Project is a 13,000 square foot building with concrete footings, foundation walls, and floor slabs, masonry walls, steel joists and decking. The building consists of offices, training room, shop, material storage, and storage and maintenance bay for pre-engineered airborne equipment trailers. Included will be required utilities, site improvements and landscaping. Also included will be a 640 square foot addition to a storage bay in an existing building. Estimated magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. In accordance with the Competition Demonstration Act for Construction, this project is to be bid as unrestricted. Therefore, replies to this office are requested from all interested qualified business concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542. The performance period is 365 calendar days. Bid packages will be issued on a first-come, first serve basis to prime contractors only until supply is exhausted. Solicitation documents are tentatively scheduled for October, 1996 at a cost of $100.00 (non-refundable) per set. The $100.00 is to accompany your request and be in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or money order payable to the ``Treasurer of the United States''. All requests shall be in writing.
