Y -- CONSTRUCTION OF 95 ACRE ENVIRONMENTAL LANDFILL CAP SOL F40650-97-B-0003 DUE 112296 POC Tony Clayborne, Contracting Officer, (615) 454-7841 This requirement is for the construction of an approximate 95 acre landfill cap at Arnold AFB TN. The contractor will be required to close existing monitoring wells, relocate clay and topsoil to obtain appropriate grading for drainage, install gas monitoring system, install leach collection system, construct access roads and establish and maintain vegetation for one year. The contract performance period will be 600 calendar days after issuance of notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Any responsible source may submit a bid which shall be considered. Firms responding to this synopsis should do so in writing and indicate whether or not they are a minority business concern.
