R -- PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS FOR EXECUTIVES AND LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS SOL 102590-96-A-0123. DUE 103096. POC Craig R. Goral, Contracting Officer, 202-268-6930. The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has a requirement for contractor medical services to provide comprehensive physical examinations on a nationwide basis (with potential for limited overseas assignments, as well) for Postal Executives and Law Enforcement personnel for a base period of two years with three one-year options. Oral presentations, bearing on capability to perform, will be conducted, to be confirmed in writing by those offerors within a competitive range. Firms desiring a solicitation package should access it via the Internet. The solicitation may be downloaded in RTF for Microsoft Windows based word processors. The solicitation package will be located on the Internet at www.usps.gov/business/wanted.htm on or about September 25, 1996. Twenty-five (25) copies of the solicitation will be printed for those firms that do not have Internet access capability. These 25 copies will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis. Telephone requests for the solicitation package will not be accepted. Requests for a printed copy must be sent via facsimile at 202-268-3677. Offerors should include complete mailing address, contact point, and telephone number. It will be necessary for all prospective offerors to obtain --separately-- a matrix of examination procedures, by age group, for Postal Inspection Service employees (Exhibit 1 to Attachment B).
