C -- ASSESSMENT SURVEY OF ALL ABOVE GROUND STORAGE TANKS AND BELOW GROUND STORAGE TANKS SOL RFP 589-05-97 DUE 110496 POC Kathleen Campbell, Contracting Officer - (816) 922-2061 The Dept. of Veterans Affairs KC MO requires an engineering firm to perform a complete assessment survey of all above ground storage tanks and underground storage tanks on the facility located at 4801 Linwood Blvd., K.C. MO. A complete set of detailed design drawings showing all piping, vents & shut-off valves, all adjacent utilities and structures with technical specifications in accordance with all EPA regulations. Conformance is required to the standards for corrosion protection discharge monitoring, over fill protection, spill catchment and secondary containment. Firms not having sufficient resources to provide working drawings and specifications for hydro geologist need not apply. Design to be complete within 120 days after Notice To Proceed. Selection will be based upon the following criteria: Recent specialized experience of firm, professional capacity of the firm to accomplish the contemplated work within the time & cost limitations; professional qualifications of staff, subcontractors, hydro geologist consultants assigned to project. Area of consideration is restricted to firms within a 50-mile radius of K.C. MO. Firms desiring consideration shall submit appropriate data such as SF254/SF255 no later than Nov. 4, 1996.
