Perform Multifamily Project Inspection services for the HUD Illinois State Office. Two geographic areas covering the Chicago area are specified--Area 1 consists of the Chicago Suburban Metropolitan Statistical Area (SMSA) north of Roosevelt Road, including parts of Cook, DuPage, and Kane Counties, and all of McHenry and Lake Counties. Area 2 consists of Chicago SMSA south of Roosevelt Road, including parts of Cook, DuPage, and Kane Counties, and all of Will County. The intent is to award two purchase orders. Work includes inspections of projects under new construction as well as some under substantial rehabilitation. This procurement is being solicited using simplified acquisition procedures and the value of the contract shall not exceed $100,000. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 8712 and the size standard is $2.5 million. See numbered Note 1. The contract period is for two years with no options to extend or until the small purchase limitation of $100,000 has been reached, whichever occurs first.
