The anticipated contract instrument is a 5 year indefinite quantity contract with a minimum quantity of 30 each and a maximum quantity of 150 each. NSN 6625-01-241-0743, P/N 7-211A11103-5, in accordance with ATCOM Source Control Drawing 7-211A11103, Rev. L applicable to the AH-64 aircraft. Initial order will be FOB Destination with required delivery of 1 each to Lathrop, CA, 2 each to Gulfport, MS, and 27 each to Texarkana, TX. Required delivery schedule is 5 each per month beginning 240 days ADC. This procurement requires prequalification. Contractors who desire to be prequalified must submit qualification documentation in accordance with procedures contained in Section L of the solicitation. Authority and justification is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The time required for acquisition of this item is such that award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. The only approved sources are Rosemont Aerospace Inc., and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations.
