C -- A/E SERVICES TO RELOCATED AMBULATORY SURGERY, URGENT CARE, AND PRIMARY CARE RENOVATION SOL 674-11-97 DUE 111296 POC Stephanie Elliott, Contract Specialist 817-899-4031 Provide Architect/Engineering services for the following projects: 674-320--Relocate Ambulatory Surgery; 674-97-151--Urgent Care; 674-97-251--Primary Care Renovation. All projects are located at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, Temple, Texas. Project scopes will involve renovation of existing areas and the construction of new facilities within an area which is only shelled in at present. A/E will provide all professional services required to includecertified industrial hygiene services if deemed necessary. EXCEPTNO INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES WILL BE REQUIRED. A/E will be required to provide design development, construction documents, construction period services and site visits to assist during construction. A/E should be able to demonstrate previous work experience in a hospital setting. Hospital experience should also reflect previous design and project development in the emergency room and surgical recovery areas if a large modern medical center. A/E selection shall be restricted to only firms that have main offices located within a 180 mile radius of Temple, Texas. Total estimated construction cost of the three projects is $1,000,000.00 to $3,000,000.00. A/E contract award will be subject to availability of funds. Award of 674-320 may be thru design development with option for construction documents and construction period services.
