R -- FEDLINK INFORMATION RETRIEVAL SERVICES DELIVERY ORDER SOL AXMV/ND POC Charles Wilson, Contract Specialist. The Library of Congress intends to issue a delivery order against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to renew a subscription with Individual, Inc. for the continued use and access of their database by Army Material Command Technical Library, Alexandria, VA (AXMV). Individual, Inc. offers a database retrieval service called ''FIRST!'' which is an annual subscription current awareness service. ''FIRST!'' annual subscription services provide customers with daily delivery of compilations of full text news articles drawn from Individual's computer database. The topics of and number of articles in the compilations are pre-defined by customers. Delivery options are single message e-mail, multiple message bulletin board format, Lotus Notes format, SGML or HTML format, and fax. Full text compilations delivered by e-mail and fax are supplemented with news briefs about the availability of additional articles of related interest. The full text of these related articles can be obtained from Individual's database through an interactive voice response fulfillment system. Each related article retrieved by this method is counted against the total number of articles specified by customers in their annual service subscription agreement. Service will be continued through September 30, 1997. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY. No telephone calls will be accepted.
