Proposed requirements contract for Fiber Optic Distribution Panels, with one basic year and two one year options. Panels are 12, 24 and 48 port. Quantities and technical requirements IAW Purchase Description, to be provided with the solicitation. Delivery point will be a CONUS loctation as specified in the delivery order. Required delivery is 45 days ARO. This is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large or small, small disadvantaged or women-owned small business. Only companies who provide all required information will receive a copy of this solicitation. For this synopsis, a concern will be considered small if its number of employees does not exceed 750. Only telephone request received directly from requester are acceptable. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call Dr. Phillip P.
